Burt, of Otaki Railway, left yesterday morning for the South Island, expecting to be away for several days. The trip will be chiefly a business one. Surprise Party A large surprise party visited the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Gjeorge Sharp on Monday night, when a very pleasant time was spent. Reference was made to Mr. Sharp's retirement from the position of manager of the Rahui factory, and best wishes were extended to both Mr. and Mrs. Sharp on their retirement. ' ;
