SELECTING GOVERNOR FOR TRIESTE
Eeceived Sunday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, April 26. Russia has nominated the former Norwegian Foreign Minister, Mr. Terje Wold, for the governorship of Trieste. The nomination has to be approved by the other Big Five Governments. It was Eussia's second nomination. The other Powers rejected the Swedish Senator, Mr. Georg-- Branting. Mr. Wold is at present a Supreme Court Judge. He was Norwegian representative on the Allied War Crimes Commission and delegate to United Nations' first General Assembly in Lofidon in 1946 and also to the. Paris Peace Conference.
