LADIES' GOLF IN LEVIN

A captain, v. vice-captaifi match will be played on the Cheslyn Rise links on Wednesday. The teams will be selected and the draw will take place in the clubhouse at 1.15 p.m. sharp. As this match is to be more in the form of a social gathering, the club hopes as many members as possible , will make an effort to be present. A special invitation is extended to all new members. Owing to the unsuccessful efforts of"the: 'committee;»to secure ^an- assistant to handle the tea on Saturday afternoons, it was decided that each lady member would take a turn on one Saturday afternoon during the season. A roster is to be posted in the clubhouse and to be advertised in the golf notes each week. Any one unable to take her turn when advertised please advise her partner. Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. Franklin are to do duty next Saturday^
