CREDIT BALANCE OF £117
KOPUTAROA HALL SOCIETY'S YEAR The twenty-fourth annual general meeting of the Koputaroa Hall Society was held on Wednesday, April 16, Mr. G. H. Rendell, presiding. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £117 7s 8d. Before retiring, the president presented the secretary, Mr. W. E. Baker, with a fountain pen from ■ jhe outgoing committee. Mr. Baker suitably replied. The election of officers resulted as follows: — President: Mr. G. H. Rendell; vice-presiden:: Mr. D. K. Guy; secretary: Mr. W. E. Baker; management committee: Mrs. W. Lancaster a'nd Messrs. W. Addinell, J. McLaughlin, G. Sanson, R. Pemberton and R. Robertson; hon. auditor: Mr. M. J. Ching. A recommendation was made to the incoming committee that the lighting. of the hall be completed and that provisions for heating be made. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
