' VISITOR SCORES THREE POSSIBLES ON LEVIN RANGE A most ■ interesting day's shooting was held on the Levin range on Saturday. Brilliant shooting by J. B. Searle (Ashhurst) was a feature of the day. Searle, who scored a possible at each of the three ranges, joins; the ranks of che select few in New Zealand to achiave this excellent standard'.of marksmanship. ConditionS at 300 and 500 yards were favourable, but rain set in while fvring at 600 yards and many promising. r totals were spoilt. W. V. Monk (Ngatiawa) and J. B. Searle were the only competitors to return a possible at 600 yards, ■ Six possiblps ■ were returned at 500 yards and four at 300 yards. In the N'ominated Teams Match the results were: 'Ashhurst 503 points, Hautere 489, • Ngatiawa 486 and Levin 480. Next Saturday a. team of 20 members of tne Petcne Club wiil visit the Levin range.
