Received Shnday, 7.3(5 p.in. MUSPOW, April 19. Mr. Bevin revealed at the 1* oreign Ministers' conl'erence that at Potsdain Marshal Stalin agreed that Austria shouid not pay any reparations. Mr. Bevin read a hitherto secret Potsdain niinute to provc tiiis when Mr. XLolo tov alono supported a Yugoslav claim for £37,7)00,000 reparations from Austria. JMr. Molotov replied that the Big Three at Potsdam had no authority to renouncc a reparations claim on behall of the other Allies. The Foreign Ministers left the issue undecided. Mr. Molotov was alone again in sup])orting Yugoslavia's _ claims for an Austrian frontier revision. The Foreign Ministers decided to loave the matter to ihe depnties for a fuli report by April 21. The Ministers agreed that former Jewish propertv riglits and iuteiosts in Austria might he used to benefit sufferers from Xa/ism ontside Austria.
