MANGAORE TENNIS CLUB

SUCCESSFUL CLOSING The-' Mangaore Tennis Club's season was brought to a successful conclusion on Saturday afternoon, visiting players being present from Shannon and Tokomaru. A tournament was held during the day and the successful prizewinners were Mr. J. D. Campbell and Mrs. Elvines. Mr. Ken Stagham (Tokomaru) and Mrs. J. Baker were the runners-up. The club captain presented the trophies and Mr. J. D. Campbell, president of the club, in closi'ng the season, stated that it had been a very successful one andhe hoped that members would enjoy : an even better season next year. Mr. Campbell expressed his thanks to all tnose who had worked so hard during the year to make the club's activities so successful and erijoyable.
