OTAKI DEFEAT LEVIN The Otaki Tennis Ci.ub, which bad won the Horowhenua B grade ccntcst met Levin A team, which v had play.ed in the A grade com- f petition in the Palmerston North j area, in a friendly . match at Levin , at the weekend. The weather was [ gloriously fine and some first ! * class tennis was witnessed. The/ games were very closely contested ; r and Otaki won by a narrow margin. ' The Otaki team was consid- 1 erably strengthened by the inclusion of 'their country member, » Miss Ann V/alker, who plays her competitive tennis in the WellihgoC'n Association. ■ Results were as follows, Otaki ; players being mentioned first in each instance: — "Mon's singles : C.
