REGENT THEATRE
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY Bing Crosby, i'n his first effort at movie production, has proved that ne is .able to bring forth a picture with " success" marked all over It as he is at creating song hits with his celebrated tonsils. His new production, "The Great John L," which opens at the Regent Theatre on Thursday is an ingenious, ingratiating film packed with lusty Irish humour and the warm nostalgia of an earlier day. A .combi'nation of star power that is winning plaudits from filmgoers is "Her-Lucky Night," which is the second attraction at the Regent Theatre. "Her Lucky Night" stars the Andrews Sisters, Martha .O'Driscoll and Noah Beery, Jnr. -
