OTAKI FOOTBALL CLUB
A meeting of the Otaki Football Club was held on Wednesday night, the president (Mr. Cahill) presiding. Arrangements were made for the match at Otaki with Petone for Easter Monday, and for the entertainment of the visitors. Several donations were to hand from the recently-elected officers. Mr. Brunton was elected as a vice-president. Mr. Cook outlined the business done at the recent meeting of the union, stating that only six senior teams were to be allowed to take part in the championship matches, while ft was decided that senior and junior selectors be nominated. Messrs. Enoka and Sievers were suggested. Mr. Cook stated that a union oflicial would make an inspecticn of grounds to ascertain if they were suitable for play. It was desirable that Rahui secure a ground independent of that to be played on by Otaki. Thanks were accorded Mr. Cook for the i'nformation.
