ideal weather prevails . Under ' ideal weather conditions, local summer sports clubs were in full swing last weekend. The bowling green was well attended on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The, green is now in excellent condition and it is expected .that with the influx ,of visitors to the town over the Easter holidays it will be very popular. The tennis club's activities were confined to local club games over the weekend, and the courts were well attended. In a recent match playec^ for the Mitchell Pins, H. Pope and Mrs. Peni were successful in defeating k. Batt and Mrs. Higgott.
