FOOTBALL SOCIAL CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING The annual general meeting of the Shannon third grade football social club was held in Laurvig's Hall on Wednesday evening. Those present were Messrs. A. Jeffreys, Hood, R. Vinsen, R. Vinsen, Junr., R. Anderson, G. Hood, D. Hood, R. Simes, R. Jamieson, B. Jeffreys and I. Ray. The election of offlcers for the coming season xesulted as follows: —President: Mr. A. Jeffreys; vicepresidents: Messrs. L. Coulter, L. Wilson, J. McNeile, D. Higgie, A. Gillespie and J. Herbert; secretarytreasurer: Mr. R. Vinsen, Junr. ; team manager: Mr. Hood, Senr. The secretary was instructed to write to the following gentlemen thanking tliem for donations towards the expenses of the club: Messrs. A. Jeffreys, R. Vinsen, Hood, A. Coulter, F. J. Lucinsky, F. C. Peach and C. H. Speirs.
