A most pleasing feature of the week's activities was the aucecsa of Tokomaru, whieli liaa now outained the Ty.ll amount roquirod to be eredited with an aiinual quota succcss. At the eommeneement of tlie week £400 was required, and as a re■sult of an appeal, residents responded splcndidly by subscribing £458 4s, tJius erediting the township with its first yearly success. Tokomaru 's success also alJows the Palmerston North postal district to . claim a new record. Tliis year the whole of the 24 "quota" towns in the postai district were successfuJ in obtaining their full quota allotment and thus fulfilled thc objective of the Palmerston North National Savings Coiumittee to reach the 100 per cent. The complete list of towns is: — Palmerston North, Apiti, Ashhurst, Bulls, Dannevirke, Feilding, Foxton, Gien Oroua, Halcombe, Kimbolton, Levin, Manakau, Ohau, Pahiatua, Pongaroa, Rangiotu, Rangiwahia, Rongotea, Sanson, Shannon, Tokomaru, Weber, Weraroa and Woodville.
