LONG WAIT FOR RAILWAY TRAVELLERS
AUCKLAND, March 31. Ilundreds of intending travellers waited for periods of up to six or seven hours to make fresh reservations at the Auckland railway station today, following the canreUatiOn of all sea'ts reserved ori trains t'ormerly expected to run 011 and after tomorrow. There was a kmg queue vvaiting at. 8.15 a.m. when the booking office was due to open but the people were not able to enter tlie ofTice before midday unless they wished to travel, on trains which were leaving today.
