Mr. Bunting, , president of - the National Association of Manufacturers, said today that the prices of food pioduets had shot upward because of large-scale buying for shipment abroad and the prospeets of additional large-scale Government purchases. The downward readjustment of price levels was being impeded by tlie uncertainty of manufacturers about the future wage levels, tax liabilities, cost of .materials and the possibility af another wave of strikes.
