FOUR BREADLESS DAYS
EASTER BAKlNG PROGRAMME There will be no bread baked m , Levin over the Easter holidays. The local bakers have made "the folloWing arrangements for deiivery to country customers. Gne is delivering on Saturday anu not, as norniaily, on the Thursda/,' and another is delivering to half his country customers on the Thursday and half on Saturday^ These arrangements have been necessitated in order that bakers will be able to make sufficient bread on the Thursday to cope with the demand for the four breadless days, thus avoiding the system of baking additional bread eaCh day. No bread will be sold at the bakehouses on Saturday. The public is therefore, advised to ehsure that adequate supplies are obtained dn Thursday,
