annual meeting Despite inclement weather, there was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Poroutawhao Rifle Club. Ramsay; executive committee: Messrs. W. J. Tait, K. A. Gpeen, D. B. Kilsby and C. Ramsay; executive committee: Messrs. W. J. Tait, K. A. Green, P. B. Bartholomew, W. J. Benning, E. C. Lewis, C. N. Ramsay and P. H. Kilsby. The membership subscription was fixed at seniors 10s and junior and ladies 5s. The opening shoot for the 1947 season was laid down for Easter Monday night. •Of 34 teams matches fired over the past season by the Poroutawhao ,Club, it was successful in winning 21 outright, while 12 were lost and one was won by default. The total points scored in these matches by Poroutawhao was 23,740. Points scored against were 22,359.
