Evans, reporting on the Taupanga cut at a meeting of the board, said that an inspection of the work to divert the water through No. 2 Taupanga cut had been carried out With Mr. A. R. Aitchison. Piling work was now completed, and it was suggested that some work where the piling joins the banks on the downstream side would be desirable to prevent erosion and outflanking of- the work.
