OTAKI DEFEAT FOXTON x Foxton Cricket Club's run of successes was brought to a halt last jSatUrday when Otaki A ran out winners by 110 runs in a match against Foxton Club. Despite Foxton's success in dismissing the two ex-Plunket Shield players, Dustin and Rice, 'early, Otaki went on to, run up 195 runs. Tnis provea to be too ,big a hurdle, particularly When Dustin came on with his offspinners and heady changes of pace. Carmont and Mounsey both batted well and showed a good range of shots. Once again Ryburn was on the spot with the ball. Tlte weather was grand and the wicket good but the outfield is in need of mowing.
