Personal Mrs. Cahill will enter Bowen Hospital, Wellington, on Monday for medical treatment. Mr. C. Meachem, of Wellington, was among the visitors to Otaki yesterday, attending to City Mission camp matters. The funeral of Mr. Carl Lutz took plac.e yesterday when a number of friends gathered to pay their last respects to his memory. Many beautiful floral tributes were placed on -the casket and the bereaved relatives have been the recipients of a large number of sympathetic messages. Successful Concert The concert given by Mr. Inia Te Wiata at Foxton on Wednesday night proved very successful, there being a record attendance. The items given by Mr. Te Wiata were heartily applauded, and he had to respond to numerous encores. Croquet at Manakau Foxton journeyed to Manakau last Tuesday to play the final match in the Sherwood Cup series. Mrs. G. Walls Won the singles, 26 — 19, but Mesdames E. Bryant and C. Edwards were not so fortunate in the doubles, losing by 26 to 9.
