Reeeived Fridav, 9.50 p.m. SYDNEY, March 21. Cecil Jolin Rolls, a labourer, aged 24, who pleaded guilty to the armed rob bery of jewels worth £9175 from a shop ■n Hunter Street, Sydnev, was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. He pntered the shop armed with a pistol and ran otf with jewellery which had been displayed to him. Tn passing sentence Mr. Justice Kirby said that crinies of violeitce in elfect fixed their own minimum sentence because .of the danger in whicli the lives of victims were placed.
