HAUTERE'S COMPETITIONS
Last Saturday the Hautere Rifle Club was favoured with ideal shooting conditions,, and the standard of ] marksmanship was' again "h'igh, there being one possible by B. F. Monk. Four members hit 49, three { 48's and several 47's. F. Freeman won Mr. H. Wylie's trophy after shooting off with R. L. and B. F. Monk. The following are the individual scores, the main being 484- and the range 500 yards: — F. Freeman 49 — 48 — 2 — 974, R. L. Monk 49—48—3—974, B. F. Monk 50 —47—1 — 97-4, H. A. Lumsden 47 — 49 i — scr. — 96, R. Stocking 46 — 45 — 5 — 96, C. Cobb 45—49—1—944, N. Monk i 46 — 43 — 5 — 94, J. Simcox 43 — 41 — 10 i — 94, L. E" Monk 44 — 48 — 2 — 934, A. j Taylor 40—46—7—92, F. H. Monkj 47—43—1—91. D. Watlington 42— 40—8—90, J. Clark 32—40—17—884 and Strom 37 — 47 — 6 — 884. Next Saturday shooting will be at' 600 yards. j
