Olsen, Hastings, has been visiti'ng her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Wright, Bell Street. • Mrs. A. Keith has returned to Masterton after a holiday in this district. School Picnic The children of the Otaki Convent School journeyed to Levin by bus on Monday for a picnic on the Levin Park Domain. The weather was gloriously fine, and the day's outing proved most enjoyable. Change of Business It will come as a surprise to many to learn that Mr. and Mrs. A. W.^L. Baker, proprietors of the wellknown stores, Dowsett's Drapery and Baker's Stores, ha ve sold these businesses, and intend leaving shortly with their family to take up residence in Auckland, their home city. Their business plans as yet are uncertain, but they intend first of all to enjoy a well-earned rest. Their successors in the two businesses concerned will be taking over at an early date. Mr. and Mrs. Baker will have the best wishes of their numerbus friends. During their stay in Otaki they have become very popular and will be greatly missed.
