Messag^s f'rom many parts of New Zeaiand indicate growing pnblic eoneern at the laek of information on the true position of the electrical situation in the North Island, the general demoralising effect of haphazard cuts on industry, and a demand for a definite eui'tailment of broadcasting hours if only as an-assnranee that the (jiovernment nieans what it says ahout the situation. If the Government is at a loss as to what to do, then the supply authorities are ready with remedies.
