WELLINGTON, Mar. 14. Branches of the Waterside Workers' Hnion throughout the country are forwarding to their headquarters in Wellington lAsolutions supporting the New Zealand Federation of Lahour in its impendi'ng application to the Arhitration Court for a general wage increase of a pound a week. At the monthly stopwork meeting, whieh. concluded yesterday afternoon, the Wellington branch of the union carried a resbluti'on stating: "This hranch supports the national council of the Federation of Lahour in its efforts for an increase of one pound weeklv for all workers, and wishes the cottnci! to impress on the Government that nothing less will he abceptable." t The resolution a'dded that, should the federation 's representations he unsuccessful, a special council meeting he called "to consider what action is required to hfing this about."-
