MUTTON BIRDERS TO LEAVE
> INVERCARGILL, Mar. 14. Weather permitting, mutton birderrwill sail from the Bluff in the kairua tomorrow evening for the islands. Fortv-five permits have been issued to Maoris and" families for the conting season. Last season 100 birders .eaught 20't/mo lu'vds in nine jveeks^— a rqcord. This catch was worth about £15,000.
