Mr. R. W". Evans, of Buller Road, Levin, is at present visiting Napier. He was judge of the Jersey section at the Tomoana agricultural show. Mr. Selwyn Baker, of Christchurch, has been selected to train in carillon playing and on qualification will be appointed to the pbsition of carillonist at the Natio'nal Waf Memorial Carillon, Wellington.
