N.Z. ATHLETES FOR AUSTRALIA
WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Harry Nelson, the New Zealand one and three-mile ehampion runner, is almost certain to go to Sydney to compete in the state championships which will be held there at Easter. ' I The secretary of the N.Z.A.A.A., Mr. W. J. Hollev, received word this morning that Nelson will be available and all that is awaited now is an ofificial invitation from the Australian A.A.U. which has its headquarters at Melbourne. * It is still uncertain whether D. M. Harris, the middle distance ehampion, will « go to the same meeting, the issue being wrapped up in Harris' desire to be accompanied by his manager, "with half the latter's expenses paid.
