Consternation has been ereated in Hawke 'S Bay by the revocation of Jones' licence, for already £1506 has been received in bookings from all parts of the North -Island for the contest with Cliff Hanham next Saturday.^ Special meetings of the executive of the Hawke 's Bay Assoeiation held in the early hours of the morning decided that an endeavour should ,be made to arrange for a double bill programme as a substitute' by featuring a contest between Hanham and Roy Stevens, both of whom have now been deprived of contests with Jones,, and Hawkps and Caliiil. Pending eft'orts to arrange these contests the bkpeutive has made no decision regarding the cancellation q£ nest Sat'iii'day's fixture.
