JNrlW PLYMOUTH, Mar. 9. The driver was lciiled and three passengers were injured when a xnotor-car travelling from Stratford to New Plymouth struck a guide post on the side of the highway a little north of Egmont village last night. They, were:— Killed: Cliiford George Mather, of Stratford, aged 21, earpenter, single. Injured: John Lewis Jelfares, of Stratford; Rex Theodore Jeffares, of Stratford, and Mauriee O.wen -Evans, of Stratford. Marks on the road indickted tliat after it struck the post the car overturned but righted itself again before coming to rest in a hedge some distance away.
