JONES' LICENSE REVOKED; MURPHY'S SUSPENDED

WELLINGTON, Mar. 7. A statement issued by the New Zealand Boxing Council tonight says : — "The conncil met this evening to further its investigation into boxing' contests held under the auspices of the Hutt Valley Boxing Association. The council had called on Bos- Murphy to attend the meeting but he conveyed through his solicitor his refusal to do so. The council has suspended Murphy 's licence and is continuing its investigations. "On certain admissions made by Willie Jones, the Amefican boxer, his licence has been revoked."
