Four of the passengers were niembers of one family — Mr. and Mrs. R. Green and their two sons, Anthony, aged seven, and Michael, aged nine. Mrs. Green said she and her husband had been waiting for years for a chance to come to New Zealand. Thoy had been trying to get passages by ship for two years and shortly before they left Kngland last uionth they were told to apply again in another 18 nionths. They eould not wait that long so they sold their house in a London suburb aird praetieally all their possessions to raise nioney for their trip by air. With Air. and Mrs. Green on the eJippor were AL rs. Green 's sister, Mrs. G. Galloway, and her husband. They also lived in London and have been hoping to come to New Zealand for a j eonsiderable time. The seventh passenger who intends Co settle liere was Mr. H. C. Edwards. He said he iiad l)een trying to come out by ship but had to give up. His wife and son would follow him.
