BYRD EXPEDITION ARRIVES AT WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, March 7. The major portion of the United States Antarctic expedition arrived in Wellington this morning. The ships were Rear-Admiral Byrd's flagship Mount Olympus and the ice-breakers North Wind and Burton Island. JAs the early morning mist dispelled the Antarctic explorers were igreeted by one of Wellington's most beautiful sunny days.
