GOOD FLORAL DISPLAY
W.D.F.F. Holds Its Annual - Show The annual flower show condupt^ ed by thg Levin Branch of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers was hgld on Tuesday. In view of the recent bad season, the flowers on display were of a parr ticularly high standard, although entries were not as numerous as in prgvious years, The vegetable section was meagre, but the quality spoke highly of the entrants' patience in nursing them through a particularly detrimental season. * The judges in the various sections were Mrs. R. K. McDonnell (decorative) and Mr. W. J. Summers (cut flowers, vegetables and fruit) . A fruit qake cpmpetition was won by Mr§. F. J, gtallard. of Waitarere.
