Gohlen Souvenir, who is an outright favourite for the Sydney Cup even before the, weights appear next Tuesday, is making good progress in his autumn preparation. At Randwick today he galloped a sound seven furlongs on a holding track in 1.33: The flags were (10 feet from the rails. Golden Souvenir was ridden by the Jiglitweight J. Dougherty and had Wirralie for a galloping partner. They went aloug at- a solid pace to ruu the iirst four in 52 and the last three in 41.
