. HUDSON SCORES A CENTURY A further series of games ip the second round of the Horowhenua Cricket AsoGiation's Hall Shield Gompetition was played on Saturday in perfect cricketing weather. Tippler was the most successful bowler for Shannon, taking two for 16. Levin secured a flve point win over College B. College B batted first and put 99 on the scoreboard. rhe two top scorers were Munford (26) and Williams (18). Walker nok flve for 18. Levin replied with 217. Hudson turned ih a fine knock and retired with 103. Included in his century were two sixes and 15 fours. MpLean captured two wickets at'low cost. Old Boys scored a five point win over paraparaumu at Levin. Old Boys opened the batting and comoiled 129 runs, R. Jqdd (41) and G. Sciascia (35) being the main morers. B.
