ADVERSE CRITICISM OF FARMERS' FILM
'A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FARMER" The amount of puhlicity given to "he film "A Day in the Life of a Farmer," was the subject of adverse opinions at a meeting of the Levip branch of the Federated Farmers held on Thursday night. Mr. B. W. Boddy eontended that the publicity being given the film wgs harmful in that the film showed up the hardships of farm life too much. This was no encouragement to the young men who were taking up, or intended taking up farming as a career. The chairman, Mr. C. E. C. Webb nointed out that the purpose of the film was to educate the townsoeople in the ways of farm life. The film showed to the townspeople the true perspective of this branch of industry. Mr. Webb said he saw no harm In the publicity given the film, for fhe sooner the townspeople learnt of the .true conditions on farms the better.
