Customs ofhcers at Mascot aerodrome were shaxen from their offiical cairn when an American passenger ate a lighted. cigarette and naif a d'ozen lighted matches to prove they were his tools of trade. The passenger was a vaudeville star who eats cigars, shirt f ronts, ' cigarettes, matches., ' flowers and mouth organs. He brought 400 cigarettes and 75 cigars from America. The Customs made an exception in his case.
