"QUIT INDIA" ANNOUNCEMENT WAS A BLIND
INDIAN LEADER S VIEWS Received Friday, 10.45 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 27. Dr. G. Adhikari, leader of the Indian delegation to the Empire Communist Party's conference in London, told Reuter's correspondent that the British Government proposed to keep India, whether united or nartitioned, under the heel of its military power. The Government's "Quit India" announcement was aimed at getting time in order to enforce Cabinet Missicn's plan, which was based on ihe perpetuation of Hindu and Moslem difTerences and a retention of the princes.
