The deviee shines a red light on the, instrument .board and also sounds a liuzzer when a stall is imniinent, rega/dless of the plane 's altitude, load or type of manoeuvre being performed. The" instrument was deveioped by a civil aeronauties anthoritv. Stalls aceount for more than half the fatal accidents in private flving in the I'nited States.
