W Nasli, at the oflicial opeuing. He paid tribute to the ef.orts of the New Plymouth Aero Club, mentioning in particular the work of the president, Mr. H. W, Liglitband.. Mr. Nash and tlie Minister of Industries were unexpected visitors to the pageant. They were en route from Wellington 1 0 Auckland where Mr. Nash w,ill depart 011 the flrst stage of his journey to the'United Stat.es Mr. Nash spoke of the rapid dcvolopment in aeronautics in the last few vears.
