WANGANUI, Feb. 21. 1 A large proportion of the wool oll'ered at the second Wanganui sale oi. the curreut season was passed today. One! broker stated that 40 per cent. would ; go to the Joint Organisation as it did ; not reach the reserves set in the open ] niarket. * | There was a eatalogue of 34,642 bales, one of the largest ever offered . in this centre. Inferior and badly got | up wools were ueglected. One iine of i line lauibs reaehed 27id. British and Continental buyers again dominated but local mills wc're also j aetive.
