It is alwavs with pleasure that. we record successes of Otaki and district re-udents. and we congratulate Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Wihon. and Mr. Neill, on t.hpir wins at the Wainukurau horticultural show, which was one that drew large .numbers of entries from various parts! Mrs. Wilson secured a first with a decorated basket. fir°t for her basket of flowers. and third for her decora.ted basket. Mr. Wilson secured first in yofiow gladioli, first for a smokev. first and second in anv other verietv, third in three gladioli. distinet varieties, second in three gladioli, one variet.y, third for his white gladiolus. second in the class for orange or salmon. third for light or dark red. third in blue. mauve. purple, or wine, first and second in any other variet.y. and second and third in the decorative class. In the dahlia sectton Mr. Ne'U secured- a first in medium and decorative, first in three distinet vari°h'es. second for miniature cactus. Uiree vases. distinet variety. thi*e° blc.oms of each. first and second in nom-poms. three vases, three distinet varieties. first in pom-poms, blooms, one vase, one variety.
