NINE FAVOURITES
Victor Mature has picked his nine favourite feminine stars. He thinks Rita Hayworth most beautiful, Linda Darnell most alluring. Cathy Downes he finds the sweetest, Betty Grable the sauciest, and Lana Turner the sultriest among his favourites. He regards Anne Shirley most restful, Hedy Lamarr most exotic. Gene Tierney the most exciting and Carmen Miranda the most fun. While- making "My Darling Clementine" Vic spent many weeks on 20th Century-Fox set with two of his favourites, Cathy Downs and Linda Darnell, and he says that experience orfly served to . confirm his opinion.
