A tailoring sliop in the main street of Manly was stripped except for clothing on displav in the win dows. The liaul, which included 25(1, suit lengtlis, 400 pairs of sports trousers and other goods of a total value of £2000, was appare.ntly removed in a truck. Tapestrios and cushions valued a' £500 were taken in a similar manne.' from a Darlingliurst furnishing waro house. iSums of money totalling £500 disaji peared from flats as the result of the activities of hurglars.
