SUSPENSION OF JOCKEY REDUCED
' AUCKLAND, .Feb. 20. Thc appcal by Jockey S. J. Green against suspension for three mouths imposed upon him by the judicial coinmittee of the Rotorua Racing Club ou Februarv 8, was heard by the Auckland District Cominittec which reduced the period of suspension to Februarv 28. The suspension was the result of an inquiry concerning an incidcnt ncar the ftnish of. the Geyser Handicap when Green, the rider of Captain Jcssc, was alleged to have hit M. Martinovich, the rider of CorneH, with his wiiip.
