"THE RAZOR'S EDGE"
One of the most important pictures to be released during this year- will be "The Razor's Edge," from the famous novel by Somerset Maugham. Two years in the making, the film brings to life the unusual characters of Maugham's
book, playing their complex roles on a broad stage, against backgrounds which range from Chicago to Paris, from Europe to India. Luxurious apartments, low dives in Montmartre, Riviera palaces, and a holy man's retreat in the Hirnalayas — these are some of the settings which add to the diversity and appeal of "The Razor's Edge." Tyrone Power leads an impressive cast as Larry Darrell, whose experiences in World War I inspire him to forsake his life among the wealthy and socially clite in order to study, live a simple existence, and find some .reason for being alive. Gene Tierney, Clifton Webb, Anne Baxter, Herbert Marshall and John Payne all have important roles. I recommend rcaders not to miss seeing this film.
