COLLIER SINKS; EIGHTEEN LIVES LOST
LOXDON, Feb. 13. ' The collier Ary foundered last Saturday 011 her way from Glamorgan to Eire and 16 of the erew of 17 are believed doad. The sole survivor, in a state of collapse, crawled up the cliff at Minehead and told the storv of the lifeboat 's battle against the gule, and how one by oue his shipmates died. The survivor, Jan Bouski, a 19-year-old Fole, was washed ashore in one of the ship 's lifeboats an Minehead, 011 the Waterford ' coast, arrived at a farm 011 the cliff-top and was taken to hospital in a state of colloi^se. He was oadly frost-bitten and seini-conscious. During tlie night morphia injections were nec.essary. Bouski said the collier roundered when nearing Waterford. He and eight of the crevv got into a lifeboat, and, the others got into another boat. Oue by one the eight died and were buried at sea until .he alone remained. He did not know wliat had .et.ome of the other boat.
