ilUULVL>AiNJJ, i'eo, 16. A fatal colJision occurred at Te Awamutu today. The victims were: Killed. Williaui Paul, aged 21, farmliaxiu, of Paterangi. Injured. Valentine Otene, aged 23, farmhand, of Paterangi, fractured skull and other injuries. His conditi'oii is serious. Mrs. Thelma Jane McConnach, of Paterangi, concussion. Her condition is not serious. . A five-seater car driven by Paul was going towards Paterangi when it. skidded and strnck a stationary tr'uek, Tb'e foree of the impact pushed the truck forward several chains, smashing a telegraph pole before it came to rest. Paul was killed instautly.
