In the Arbitratiou Oo ^rt today the State Electricity Comrnission affirmed its promise to help unions gain for shift workers in its "eniploy, time and a half on Saturdays and double pay on Sundays. kiore than 11U0 shift workers are employed by the Comrnission. The- cliief stalf superintendent for the New Sduth Wales • railways said that the suggested incfeases in rates would cost his department a total of £(371,000 yearly.
